Training in Action
This facility-based program prepares individuals for the labor market by teaching a variety of vocational skills needed to thrive in a work environment. Participants gain experience and earn money as they perform packaging, light assembly, collating and other jobs for local companies.
A major component to this program is creating space where transferable skills can be developed and help participants as they transition into other opportunities. This is a great proving ground for our Employment Services department as we can help train participants in job specific skills that they will need on a job site.

LOCAL CONNECTIONS
Building lasting relationships with local business is an important facet of our production based program. This highlights the community integration that we strive for. Participants build the necessary skills for future employment while assisting local businesses with their goals and objectives.

MINIMUM WAGE
Participants in our Vocational program earn at least minimum wage while completing work for local business and gaining the necessary skills for competitive employment.

VARIETY OF SKILLS
Our production services have adapted over the years, but we pride ourselves on providing a variety of opportunities for participants to learn new skills and experience many types of work. Boxing, weighing, quality control and collating are just a few of the tasks that are performed every day.
