Virtual learning, Lighthouse’s creative response to the pandemic shutdown in early 2020, has been and continues to be a relevant and necessary avenue to facilitate communication with Lighthouse participants. This program extends access to life-enriching classes based on participants’ interests and goals. Lighthouse currently offers 37 different online class options to 28 participants.

Education in specialized topics, such as food science, astronomy, sign language, horticulture, and more
Social skills and overall daily life skills development and increased comfortability interacting with others
Boosted self-esteem and quality of life as individuals and their support team recognize their new abilities and talents
