In March of 2021, Amy Horne joined Lighthouse as a Program Specialist bringing years of experience working with people with disabilities and a playful sense of humor.

It’s been a year, but it’s finally launched: the staff in Lighthouse’s day program, Strengthening Pathways (SP), created their first teaching unit with lesson plans, hands-on exercises and even a creative theme.

If you ever visit the music class at Lighthouse, you may see Kaitlin (KT) Ashway.  You will see her dancing in her wheelchair, singing with a smile and playing her bells in rhythm.  You may even be inspired to join in.
